How patients log in

Patients can access their own My Health Record by logging in to MyGov and linking in My Health Record. The steps are here: Log in to your My Health Record.

General practices can order printed material by logging in to myhealthrecord.immij.com

Pre-opt out

The My Health Record expanded to all Australians in early 2019, after an initial opt out period between 16 July 2018 and 31 January 2019. The resources below are from before the expansion rollout.

Brochures

  • General (click the link to download "All you need to know about My Health Record")
    • To order hard copies of the 'general' brochure email health@nationalmailing.com.au or call 02 6269 1080 and ask for the My Health Record ‘All you need to know’ brochure. They will need your practice/organisation name, street address, contact name, phone number, and the quantity of brochures required.

'Tent cards'

'Tent cards' (shown below) are available for displaying in the reception area or even on the doctors' desks. If you would like some, your local PHN may have copies.

Online badging

You can promote that your practice is using the My Health Record by putting a badge on your website (see sample below). Note that the National Health Services Directory (NHSD) will show this badge when displaying provider details if the provider is using the My Health Record. The NHSD also enables people to filter their search by this criteria. Select your preferred badge here.
